Change lots of mp3 names?

Hi,i have got about 80 songs that i have taken from my cd's to put on my mp3 player but when taking them of the cd they all have a namme like

01-Europe _ The Final Countdown.mp3

how can i remove the first 3 characters from every mp3 without going through every one.

I think you're going to have to do each one, but you can make it faster by highlighting and pressing delete ^_^

Are you using Itunes? Because if you double click a song it usually fixes itself, by removing the .mp3 or putting the artist name in the artist name section. This didn't work for my friend though, so maybe it's just my computer... I don't know...

Copy all of them to a new folder. (Just in case it all goes wrong!)

Highlight all of them.

Right click on any one and select Rename.

Delete the first three characters. Press Enter.

Or if that doesn't work...

You can do it with a DOS batch file.

You need an MP3 Tag maker software. Google and locate one, there are quite a number of free tag makers out there. If you can't easily find one, please get back to me, I must have one in my library.
