IPod or MP3 player???

i mean which do u think is better? an iPod? or an MP3 player? whats the difference between these two? and what does a photo MP3 player do? does it mean u can take pics? like a digital camera?

IPod or MP3 player???myspace quiz

An iPod is an MP3 Player.

An MP3 Player or Digital Audio Player are common names for digital music playing devices that play MP3 files or other digital audio files.

A photo MP3 player does not take pictures. It simply has photos for album art, etc... While a video mp3 player can actually play video files as well.

Before buying any of the above players, be sure to learn the digital rights management (DRM) each of them have. Some players don't allow compatibility with certain files. For example, ITunes purchased mp3 songs can only be played on an iPod.

theres good points to them both i would personally go with the ipod they look better
no don't get one that only plays MP3s get one that plays WMA's(Windows media adapted.) they take less space they're cleaner cut but you have to use windows media player 10 and up I think but trust me WMA's are much better.
This Q has already been answered. If you had used search, you'd see. However, iPod is an mp3 player it is only a brand thats named like that. iPod is the best mp3 player on the marker sound-wise and when it comes to ease of use and navigation. iPod can storing and displaying photographs, but it does not have a built in camera so you can't taking photos like you can let's say with your mobile phone device.

You've formulated this question in a way like you would ask someone is it better to buy a car or a Mercedes.....
i would reccomend an mp3 player over an ipod, theyre so much better, and they play more types of music, and they hav features that an ipod doesnt

and the photo part means it displays pictures and album art
Techincally, an iPod is a MP3 player ;) They are the original..
Why dont u go to a store and ask people who are paid to care

Can an mp3 file on my desktop be downloaded into an IPOD?

I have some audio mp3 files in a folder on my desktop i listen to when im online, mostly of old radio shows- How would I download the mp3s from my file into an IPOD? I was thinking of getting an ipod-

If the download isn't possible, i guess Ill just listen when Im online. I'm not sure if the IPOD only takes specific 'IPOD' mp3 files..I have a Dell desktop computer

The iPod plays any and all MP3s. Just download iTunes and drag your files into the iTunes library. Then simply hook up your iPod and sync it with your music library.

If you get a video iPod and want to play your MPG movies, iPod only plays MP4 video files, so you will have to convert them using third-party software.

When you download iTunes, IMPORT things to your library from your computer. And yes, mp3 works.

On the mp3 player, you kno the headphone outlet...?

You may be able to get it fixed if you send it back to SanDisk but it's probably cheaper to buy a new one.

Could be the plug, could be the amp chip inside. The innards of an MP3 player are so tiny you need a microscope to do any work on them, so I don't think repair at home is possible. Even if it's under warranty, if you have to send it in to Sandisk, the cost of shipping it there and back is almost as much as just buying a new player these days.

I have a free mp3 audio cutter and it has a thirty day trial on it. is there any way i can reset the

Headphone help (MP3 player)?

Is it possible to use Bluetooth Headphones with an MP3 Player?

Now, I'm not exactly a technical person, so I don't really know how bluetooth works. I know that a pair of headphones that are bluetooth will have a reciever-style box attached to the headphone jack, so what i wanted to know was:

Can i put my MP3 player in my pants pocket and my headphones on my head, and just go walking? Or do the reciever and headphones have to be able to see each other?

Also, on a similar note, does anyone know of any decent bluetooth headphones (that would be compatible with a Creative Zen Vision: M) that are pretty good?

I'm looking to try and get some circumaural (cover your ears), closed back, bluetooth headphones, but the only thing i can find are a pair of bluetooth headphones by Creative that aren't getting very good reviews. Apparently sound is choppy through them at times.

Anyone able to help out?

Thank you :)

Dont bother with bluetooth. Sounds quality is subpar and not worth the money. Shure headphones are the best and any product from them is worth the extra cash.

This website here gives a good description of different bluetooth headphones.. hope this helps!!

im sorry, I dont know I didnt even know buletooth had headphones out But The kind I like are score. im not sure if they have a site
For your MP3 player, you will need a bluetooth transmitter/adapter to actually use the bluetooth headphones. They won't just magically work. They work with cell phones only if the phone supports the correct profile (see below).

Sony sells an adapter that works both ways, sending and receiving, and costs around $100 (at BestBuy), just for the adapter. Its apparently really new, I saw it two days ago in the store, but couldn't find it on the website today. The headphones are going to run another $100 ($50 at least) for a decent pair. Go for ones made by music companies, not computer companies for better sound quality.

The sound will probably be choppy (BT is not the most reliable connection), and the batteries in these (the adapter and the headphones) is probably not going to last as long as the MP3 player battery will last.

Bluetooth works with RF (radio waves), so it doesn't need line of sight, only to be close (maximum of 30 feet). There are more BT headphones coming out now since many phones now support A2DP protocol. This is the bluetooth profile that allows for stereo sound transmission. So, if you wait, there will be more selection, and possibly lower cost, but don't count on the price dropping much.

Summary: Yes, it will work how you want it to, but it will require an adapter on the player (in your pocket), it will cost a lot, and may not sound great. Although, it may also double as a cell phone adapter for hands free phone usage.

My opinion, get a good quality set of headphones, or some isolating ear buds (like the Shure e2c). Sound quality is much better and no worry about batteries running down or losing connection.

You should call your manufacturer(if you do not have the number, check their website.) Most stores have a 90 day return policy with all packaging and receipt.

If you do not have a receipt but the serial number was scanned at the time of purchase the retailer should be able to look up the purchase date.

Good luck.

HELP mE WITH MY MP3 PLAYER PROBLEM!!! HELP!!!?coolest myspace myspace.com

usually if an mp3 player is 2 weeks old they might take it back if you have the receipt but i would do it fast!!! Usually most stores have a 3 week policy for returns.. If it broke like that then it probably is broken. probably a software issue..

did you try restarting your computer and such??

good luck!!!
Its broken(i think) my mp3 doesn't work anymore too.
First. Dont panic, and throw the thing. the 4 gig. has had these problems. (i have a 2 gig) What you do, is change the USB cord. to make sure it wasnt faulty. and if that doesnt work, take it back. for the Mp3 player not turning on: make sure u charge it. charge the battery, and it will turn on. Good luck!

Change the USB cord: means try a different one.

Just go up to the place that you got it and say: "my Mp3 player won't turn on. May I please exchange it?"
It probaly just ran out of juice. If it didn't then just tell the company or store that it broke. if the store dosn't give you a new one then go to the manufactures website and call them for the support line.
