Actually I like the Creative Vision M and the Sansa. I HATE IPOD! I had a Zune but it broke, it was a pretty nice player but the whole wi-fi thing was useless. Practically nobody has a Zune. Anyway, anything over 4 gigs will do for me.

Well the one you discribe sounds good!!

Get that!
i-pod
I have a 30gb black IPOD. It's very easy to use, It has enough space and it is lightweight. A couple of my buddies have the new Microsoft Zune, i think it's microsoft. It has more features which are nice, but it is bigger and bulkier. If you have A LOT of music i would go for something that has more than 30gb. Apple offers an 80gb IPOD. That should be more than enough space for all your music and videos and pictures.
Obviuosly a suggestion is purely subjective based on a users experience, so bearing that in mind...My current player is a Creative Zen Micro Vision 30 GB. Bought it a few months ago for just under $200 US. So far it has proven to be a very good player. It plays MP3, obviously.. supposedly will also play WMA and WAV files, but I have not tried any of those types as of this writing. I don't need a special program to transfer files to the device like certian other brand name players do, but Creative does include a program with its player that makes it easy to organise files and create playlists. The video portion works well too. Picture is quite clear and sharp. I mainly use my player for music, though. Battery life is about 12 hours, although Creative claims 14. Maybe 14 with continuous non-stop play? Anyway, that's my suggestion. And it's cheaper than others in the same catergory.
I have Black iPod 80 gb and not complaining very easy to use lightweight but would recommend purchasing the white(because it's cheaper for some reason) 30 gb

7500~ songs

2.5-inch color display

136 g

61,8 x 103,5 x 11 mm

and it's quite cheap

hope that helps you!
Ipod its compatible with nearly everything

you can run into serious problems with zen %26amp; sony walkman

because so many ppl hav ipods there are much more accesorries for them and alot more software programmes that are compatiable with them..

i hav a 20gb and its plenty i can keep files on it and use it as a meomry stick aswell but

the storage space really depends on how much of a music fan u are
well I like ipods better, and I have used both. The Microsoft Zune is much better than the zen. it is 30 gb, but 250 USD. It has video, and music and fm radio. Its radio capabilities are so strong that it tells you what song is playing on what station, if any, and it lists the radio stations.
I recently purchased an Archos 604 30GB Ultra-Slim Portable Digital Media Player and Recorder. Nearly similar in price to an ipod but way more features.

Lightweight and portable digital video, movie, music player and photo viewer with easy-to-use, intuitive controls and a bright 4.3-inch TFT LCD screen

30 gigabyte hard disk lets you store up to 15,000 songs, 300,000 pictures, or 85 movies, or any combination thereof

Compatible with MP3, WAV, WMA and protected WMA music files, JPEG, BMP, and PNG picture files, and MPEG-4 and WMV video files

Uses high-speed USB 2.0 for both file transfers and charging, and includes a removable, rechargeable Lithium-Ion polymer battery with up to 16 hours of music and 5 hours of video life

Lets you play music through a stereo or videos over your TV via an optional docking station, weighs only 9.05 ounces, and measures approximately 5.1 x 3 x 0.65 inches (W x H x D).
